We are a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping veterans and others with hidden disabilities and also, survivors of sexual assault. Our focus and expertise is not in the immediate crisis management, but in the post crisis recovery that often lasts for years afterwards.
Our culture is slow to dispel common misperceptions about hidden disabilities, and both the emotional and physical damages that occurs in veterans as they try to function in their communities without help or interventions.
We help these veterans reconnect with themselves, understand people's reactions to their behaviors, find social solutions to problems, and become active in their communities as they rebuild their lives.
We have a dedicated team of professionals who educate the community, law enforcement officers, and legislators about Trauma Informed Care and the unique interventions that are most effective for veterans in crisis in their communities.
