Empowerment

When we successfully advocate and educate, our survivors become empowered. They learn how to reconnect with themselves, find internal balance and strength, and then re-enter their community with purpose and confidence.

How does this happen? Through systemic and sequential learning and neuroplastic dynamics.

Our team focuses on both the individual and the unique needs that this person has. By using a "wrap around" approach, our team matches partners and local resources to our survivors. Within this safety net, our survivors explore their needs and strengths and we partner with them directly to facilitate positive communications and experiences. This allows them to redefine their perceptions and see the good in both themselves and others. Over time, we have repeatedly seen this process help survivors develop confidence and reconnect to their communities as they become independent again.
