Be an Advocate

If you are a survivor and have reached a point in your journey where you are strong enough to help others, we would love to welcome you to our team.

We have a need for state level advocates who can partner with survivors on a regular basis to overcome barriers they experience in daily living. This could be as simple as a telephone call, social media conversations, and / or reflective listening.

We also have a need for regional advocates who are able to communicate with community partners and state organizations, match veterans who may be in crisis with local resources, and act as good will embassadors to develop new partners and resources.

Our regional advocates should have upper level academic experience or professional credentials, as there may be opportunities for national advocacy through legislative education and congressional testimony.

We are developing a comprehensive training program for state and regional advocates which will help them become highly effective and professionally certified.

If you are interested in becoming an advocate, please send a short bio and resume to info@internityonline.org, and one of our board members will contact you.
